Security Assessment & Penetration Testing

A security assessment answers a simple question: if someone hostile targeted us today, how far would they get? We combine a structured review of your controls with hands-on penetration testing of networks, applications and people. You receive findings ranked by business impact, with fixes your team can act on, rather than a long scanner export nobody has time to read.

Why organizations commission an assessment

Most leaders sense that their defenses have gaps but cannot say where. Controls were added over years, by different people, for different reasons, and nobody has tested them as a whole.

The trigger is often external: a cyber insurance renewal, a customer security questionnaire, a recent breach at a peer, or a board member asking for assurance.

What’s in scope

  • Security posture review against NIST CSF or CIS Controls
  • External and internal network penetration testing
  • Web application and API testing
  • Cloud configuration review for Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS
  • Phishing and social engineering simulation
  • Wireless and remote-access testing
  • Retest after remediation to confirm fixes hold

Method

How the work runs

  1. 1

    Scope and rules

We agree targets, testing windows and escalation contacts so tests never surprise your operations.

  2. 2

    Review and test

Analysts examine configurations and policies while testers attempt real attack paths with safe methods.

  3. 3

    Rank and explain

Every finding is rated by likelihood and business impact and written for both technical and executive readers.

  4. 4

    Brief and retest

We walk your team through results, help plan fixes and retest the critical items once they are closed.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Anything else? Send us a message or ask our assistant.

Will testing disrupt our systems?

We schedule tests around your operations, avoid destructive techniques and keep a direct line to your contact so anything unexpected can be paused at once.

How often should we test?

At least annually, and after major changes such as a cloud migration, an acquisition or a new customer-facing application.

Is this different from a vulnerability scan?

Yes. A scan lists known weaknesses automatically. Penetration testing has people chain weaknesses together the way an attacker would, which shows real impact.

What does an assessment cost?

It depends on the size of the environment and the depth of testing, so it is scoped per engagement. Request a consultation for a proposal.
