Privacy Policy

Last updated November 5, 2026

Your trust matters to us. This policy describes what we collect through vinemobile.net, why, how long we keep it and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

vinemobile provides IT consulting, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure and managed IT services. This policy explains how we handle personal information collected through vinemobile.net (the "site"). For questions about this policy, use the contact form and choose "General enquiry"; we do not publish an email address so that every request is logged and answered.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us and the minimum technical data needed to run the site securely:

  • Consultation requests: the services you are interested in, organization name, size band, industry, timeline, your description of your needs, your name, work email, job title, phone number (optional) and preferred contact method and time.
  • Contact messages: topic, name, email, organization (optional), phone (optional) and your message.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: your email address.
  • Website assistant: the questions you type and the answers given, kept to protect the service from abuse and to improve answers.
  • Technical data: the page you submitted from, the referring page, campaign tags in the link you followed, and a one-way hashed form of your IP address used for rate limiting. We do not store your raw IP address with your request.

We do not use advertising trackers, third-party analytics, third-party fonts or social media pixels on this site.

3. How we use information

  • To reply to your request and prepare a consultation or proposal you asked for.
  • To keep a record of our conversations with you so any colleague can pick up where we left off.
  • To protect the site and our team against spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To meet legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

4. Legal bases

Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (which you give when you tick the consent box on a form), on steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, responsive business. You can withdraw consent at any time; this does not affect processing that already took place.

5. The website assistant

"Ask vinemobile" answers questions using only content published on this site. It is protected against misuse by rate limits and a short proof-of-work check that runs in your browser; it does not set tracking cookies. Do not share passwords, health information or other sensitive data in the assistant. Where an AI model is used to phrase an answer, only your question and the relevant site content are sent to the model provider, without your name or contact details.

6. Sharing

Your information is stored in our own systems and is accessible only to authorized vinemobile staff who need it to respond to you. We share it with service providers only where needed to run the site (for example, network protection and hosting), under contracts that require them to protect it, or where the law requires disclosure.

7. Retention

  • Consultation and contact requests: 24 months after our last interaction, unless they become part of a client relationship, in which case our client agreement applies.
  • Newsletter sign-ups: until you unsubscribe.
  • Assistant conversations: 90 days.
  • Security logs: up to 90 days.

8. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit, access controls with individual staff accounts, activity logging, least-privilege access and regular backups. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and regulators as the law requires.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to complain to a data protection authority. To exercise any right, send us a message through the contact form with the topic "General enquiry". We will verify your request and respond within the time the law requires, and within 30 days at the latest.

10. International transfers

We deliver services globally. Where information is transferred across borders, we apply safeguards required by applicable law, such as standard contractual clauses.

11. Children

This site is intended for business users. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest version at the top. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
