Cookie Policy

Last updated November 5, 2026

vinemobile.net does not set tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The only cookies and browser storage we use are strictly necessary for the site to function securely. This policy lists them so you can see exactly what is stored.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as session storage, serve comparable purposes. Some are essential to make a feature work; others track behavior across visits or sites. We use only the first kind.

2. What we do not use

We do not set cookies for advertising, retargeting, cross-site tracking or behavioral profiling. We do not load third-party advertising or social tracking scripts on the public site. Because we use no non-essential cookies, the site does not display a cookie consent banner.

3. Strictly necessary cookies and tokens

The following items are the complete list of what the site may store on your device:

  • Staff session cookie: set only when vinemobile staff sign in to the administrative area. It keeps the signed-in session active, is marked secure and HTTP-only, and is not set for ordinary visitors.
  • Chat session token: when you use the website assistant, a random token identifies your conversation so replies stay in context. It is held in memory or session storage in your browser and is cleared when you close the tab or window.

4. Why we use them

These items are required to deliver features you ask for, such as signing in or continuing a chat conversation, and to keep those features secure. They do not identify you across other sites and are not used to build a profile of your interests.

5. How long they last

The staff session cookie expires when the session ends or after a period of inactivity, whichever comes first. The chat session token lasts only for the life of the browser tab. Neither persists indefinitely on your device.

6. Managing cookies in your browser

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because we set no cookies for visitors beyond the chat token held in session storage, blocking cookies will not affect browsing the public site. Closing the tab clears the chat token.

7. Forms and personal information

Information you submit through our contact forms is handled under our Privacy Policy and is not stored in cookies. Please see that policy for how we use, retain and protect form submissions.

8. Changes and questions

If we ever add a cookie that is not strictly necessary, we will update this policy first and request your consent where the law requires. For questions, use the contact form and choose the topic "General enquiry".
