Risk & Compliance

Compliance Readiness

Frameworks are written for auditors, not for busy IT teams. We translate them into a concrete plan: what to fix, which policies to write, what evidence to collect and who owns each task. Then we stay with you through the audit. You finish with controls that really operate, rather than a binder prepared for a single day of review. Your team keeps its focus on the business, not on interpreting standards.

Compliance feels vague until it becomes a deadline

A prospect asks for a SOC 2 report or a regulator announces a review, and suddenly teams must interpret hundreds of requirements without knowing where to begin.

Organizations that rush often over-scope the audit, buy tools they do not need or pass once and fail the following year because nothing was embedded.

What’s in scope

  • Framework selection and audit scoping
  • Gap assessment against SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF or CIS Controls
  • Policy, procedure and risk assessment authoring
  • Technical control remediation with your IT team
  • Evidence collection and organization
  • Internal readiness audit before the external one
  • Auditor liaison and fieldwork support

Method

How the work runs

  1. 1

    Scope

We settle the framework, systems and period in scope so the audit is neither too narrow nor needlessly large.

  2. 2

    Assess

A control-by-control gap analysis shows what exists, what is missing and the effort to close each gap.

  3. 3

    Remediate

Policies and controls are put in place, with owners named and operating evidence generated as work proceeds.

  4. 4

    Audit

A mock audit finds remaining issues, then we support walkthroughs and evidence requests with the auditor.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Anything else? Send us a message or ask our assistant.

Do we need compliance software?

Not always. We advise whether a platform helps at your size, and help you use one if you already have it.

What is the difference between SOC 2 Type I and Type II?

Type I looks at control design at a point in time. Type II also tests that controls operated over a period. Many buyers ask for Type II.

Can you help us maintain certification?

Yes. Ongoing support covers evidence collection, internal reviews and preparation for each annual audit.
