Most ransomware incidents succeed through a handful of ordinary gaps: an exposed remote service, a reused admin password, a backup the attacker can reach. Our assessment tests those gaps the way an attacker would and measures how quickly you could recover.
Why readiness is more than having backups
Organizations often discover during an incident that backups were encrypted along with production, that the admin who knew the restore order left last year, or that no one had decided who could authorize a shutdown. Readiness is the sum of prevention, detection, containment and recovery, and each can fail independently.
The assessment walks the full attack path from initial access to data recovery, then ranks what to fix by how much each gap shortens an attacker's route or lengthens your downtime.

Will the assessment disrupt our operations?
No. The work is read-only or conducted in agreed windows. Any test that could affect production, such as a restore test, is scheduled with your team and run against a non-critical copy first.
Is this a penetration test?
It overlaps but is broader. A penetration test proves what can be broken into; this assessment also measures detection, containment and recovery, because ransomware outcomes depend on all four. We can add targeted testing where findings warrant it.
How long does it take and what do I need to provide?
Scope and timeline are agreed during the consultation. We typically need read access to identity and endpoint consoles, your backup configuration, and two or three hours of your IT lead's time for interviews.
How is the engagement priced?
