vinemobile launches a co-managed IT program for in-house teams
Our new co-managed IT program pairs internal IT teams with vinemobile specialists, sharing the workload without handing over ownership of your environment.

A third option between in-house and outsourced
Many organizations have capable internal IT staff who are stretched thin. Full outsourcing feels like giving up control, while hiring more people takes time and rarely covers every specialty. Today we are launching a co-managed IT program designed for exactly this situation: your team stays in charge, and vinemobile takes on the parts of the workload you choose.
The program draws on the same practice-based model we use for our managed clients, with access to more than 100 certified experts across infrastructure, security, cloud and end-user support.
How the program works
Each engagement begins with a short assessment of what your team does well, where it is overloaded and which risks go unaddressed. From there, you select the modules that suit you.
- Service desk overflow and after-hours coverage, with tickets routed into your own tool.
- Round-the-clock monitoring and alert triage for servers, networks and cloud workloads.
- Patch and vulnerability management with agreed maintenance windows.
- Backup management and recovery testing.
- Project capacity and specialist support for migrations, upgrades and security hardening.
Clear lines of responsibility
Co-management works when everyone knows who does what. Every module has a written responsibility matrix stating which tasks vinemobile performs, which your team performs and who approves changes. Administrator access is granted on a least-privilege basis, actions are logged, and your leaders keep visibility through shared dashboards and a monthly service review.
Documentation stays in your systems. If you decide to change the scope or end the engagement, your runbooks, configurations and knowledge remain with you.
Who it is designed for
The program fits schools and colleges with small central IT teams, manufacturers who need monitoring beyond business hours, professional services firms growing faster than their internal capacity, and any organization where one or two key people carry too much institutional knowledge. It is also a practical way to bridge a vacancy or a busy project period without a long-term commitment to a single model.
Getting started
Organizations interested in the program can request an assessment through our website. We will agree scope and success measures at the outset, including the response targets that apply to each module, and review progress with your leadership each month. Our head office is in San Jose, California, and we deliver the program to clients globally.
