More space for the work clients rely on
vinemobile has opened an expanded operations center at its San Jose, California headquarters. The new facility brings our monitoring, service desk and incident response teams together in a larger space designed around how they actually work, and provides capacity to support continued growth in managed services.
Our teams provide 24/7 monitoring, and the expansion is about making that service stronger rather than changing it. More analysts and engineers can work side by side, and shared screens and case boards make handoffs between shifts quicker and clearer.
What is new
The expansion focuses on the areas where proximity and resilience matter most.
- A larger floor for security monitoring and managed IT operations teams, allowing more simultaneous coverage.
- A dedicated incident response room that can be activated quickly when a client needs coordinated support.
- Improved facilities for training and tabletop exercises with client teams, in person or remote.
- Upgraded power and network connectivity, with redundancy for the services that support continuous operation.
- Access controls and visitor procedures suited to a facility that handles client information.
What it means for clients
Clients should see the benefits in everyday service rather than in the building itself. Bringing practitioners together shortens the path from a question to an expert, so complex tickets get resolved with fewer handoffs. Extra capacity helps us maintain our average response time of under 15 minutes as the volume of alerts and requests grows.
The facility also supports business continuity. Our operations are designed so that work can move between sites and remote staff if a location is affected, and the new center is built with that in mind. Procedures for activating continuity arrangements are tested on a regular schedule.
Visiting and what comes next
Clients are welcome to arrange a visit through their service manager, and we will host sessions in the new space throughout the coming months, including workshops and tabletop exercises. We will also continue to invest in the training and development of our more than 100 certified experts, because a better building is only worth what the people inside it deliver.
Thank you to our clients for the trust that made this growth possible, and to our teams for the work that earned it.
