What is changing
vinemobile has extended its 24/7 security operations coverage to serve clients in a new delivery region. Monitoring has always run around the clock from our existing operations. What changes is how coverage is staffed and handed off: clients in the new region now receive analyst contact and escalation aligned with their own business day, with overnight monitoring continuing without interruption.
For organizations that operate across time zones, this removes a common friction. A high-priority alert no longer waits for a distant morning to be discussed with the people who understand the affected system.
What clients will notice
Existing clients with operations in the region do not need to change their agreements. The practical differences are in the working relationship.
- Escalations for confirmed incidents are discussed with the client's on-duty contacts during their local working hours.
- Daily and weekly summaries arrive timed to the start of the client's working day.
- Our average response remains under 15 minutes for alerts that meet escalation criteria, regardless of the hour.
- Monthly service reviews can be scheduled within local hours rather than adapted to a San Jose calendar.
How the service operates
Our analysts work from shared playbooks, one case management system and common detection content, so a case opened at midnight is picked up in the morning with its full history. Containment authority, escalation contacts and notification rules are agreed with each client in advance and recorded in the client's runbook, so that the person on duty applies the same decisions as the person who was on duty an hour earlier.
This follows the principle that detection is only as valuable as the response behind it. Monitoring is delivered as part of our managed security offerings, alongside vulnerability management, identity protection and incident response support.
Why we made the change
Clients with offices, plants or customers in several regions told us that a security partner who is awake is not the same as a security partner who is available in the right context. Coverage that respects local working patterns shortens the path from an alert to a decision, which is the interval that matters during an incident.
The expansion is supported by the same standards we apply everywhere: documented procedures, recorded handoffs, regular quality reviews of closed cases, and training against current attacker techniques as catalogued in MITRE ATT&CK.
Next steps
Clients can ask their service manager to review contact lists and escalation windows for the new arrangement. Organizations considering managed detection and response can talk to our Security Practice about onboarding. We will continue to extend coverage as client needs grow, and we will publish further updates here when we do.
